Office of Accountant General Punjab, School Education Department, and Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB), have collaborated in a venture to take facilitation in submission of pension claims to an even better level. By enabling online submission of pension cases by the department, the need for visiting AG Office for submission of claims and documents has been done away with. Token will only be issued if documents are complete and in order. This will help minimize rejection of pension claims. Submission of documents in soft form will also help reduce stationery, need for keeping paper records and will be environment friendly. The solution will be rolled out to all DAOs of the province during 2022-23.
