Quality Assurance Cell established at AG Punjab in December 2021 to generate exception reports through SAP-ERP based system, for identifying any wrongful payments through AG/DAOs across the province. While internal audit has been active at AG Punjab since long, a dedicated Quality Assurance Cell was established at AG Punjab in December 2021 for generating exception reports from the SAP-ERP system to identify any wrongful, or erroneous payments through the system and any gaps in data captured in the system. Since its inception QAC has enabled recovery of wrongful payments of allowances in millions of rupees, across the Punjab. The QAC has also helped identify and overcome gaps in CNIC and other data of employees in the system. Post-audit of pension and supplier payments is also being done through QAC.
